Is Steam Down

Feb 18, 2025unlike other global service, they can't figure out how to do updates and maintenance without bringing the whole thing down, so it goes down every tuesday night / wednesday morning. Looks like currently two of the cdns steam uses are having localized trouble:

Is steam server get down? I've disconnect 2 times this day and get 2 days cooldown matchmaking. Meanwhile is the server down if you get achievment on a game steam doesnt check that achievment and lost forever?

Steam has failed to compete with gaming on neural link/the metaverse. Steam gift activation seems down. Try shutting steam down on your system and then relaunch it to check for an update.

Browser, app on phone and steam client on pc are acting same. I'm wondering if anyone can't connect to the steam server cause i can't connect to the server. Dec 19, 2024is steam down 1st time in history?
